| Tredimaggio Feast |
 The feast of Piazza Vecchia, which is celebrated on 3rd May, is suggestive and original. In the morning, while the festive bells are ringing, the banner of the Madonna of Victories, escorted by the knights who won the previous year's Norman Palio, is carried in a procession
from the church of Angeli Custodi up to the Sanctuary, next to the so called Castle of Count Roger, about 5 kilometers far from the town. At the end of the Holy mass, which closes the religious feast, the inhabitants of Piazza Armerina are used to spend a pleasant day in the country, eating, singing songs and playing games in the "Indirizzo" district.
