Built in the first half of the seventeenth century, it has an elegant convex facade, same as the nearby Sant' Ignazio's church, and it is characterized by its octagon shape. It is higher than the road level and access is possible via the double stone stairway.

Unfortunately its interior is completely destroyed and nothing of its antique splendor remains. Nevertheless, its restoration is hoped for two reasons: to restore dignity to this elegant construction and to add and enrich this square, which, rightfully, can be considered as one of the most suggestive monumental areas of the town.
