 It was founded in the 3rd century as a church annexed to the Benedictine monastery. In the 18th century, it was frescoed by the Flemish G. Borremans
and his apprentices with incomparable scenes of the life of Benedictine Saints, on the walls, and other sacred subjects on the vault. The antique choir loft in hand wrought iron is also of a high artistic value.
